Linhai wins national recognition for greening efforts

The Linhai Forestry Bureau was recently recognized nationally for its afforestation efforts.
The bureau was honored as a "national afforestation advanced group" by the National Afforestation Commission, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, and National Forestry and Grassland Administration.
Linhai has been making strides with its greening efforts in recent years.
As of 2021, the city's forest coverage rate had climbed to 68.75 percent and its total forest tock volume had amounted to 7.82 million cubic meters, according to official data.
In 2014, Linhai was designated a provincial forest city in Zhejiang. In 2020, the Linhai forest farm made the 2021 list of the 10 best forest farms in China.
