Six towns in Taizhou, East China's Zhejiang province have been included in the list of the top 500 high-quality development towns in China, according to a report recently released by the Beijing First City Economic Consulting Center.

The report evaluated towns from across the nation based on factors including economic strength, attractiveness to new population, as well as factor allocation capability.

Factor allocation capability is primarily determined by the number of companies, above-designated-size companies, as well as general stores and supermarkets with an area of more than 50 square meters.

The six towns are Daxi town in Wenling city (247th), Zeguo town in Wenling city (305th), Jinqing town in Luqiao district (358th), Chumen town in Yuhuan city (377th), Dongcheng town in Linhai city (494th) and Shamen town in Yuhuan city (497th).
