The 10th Taizhou Sports, Tourism, and Leisure Festival kicked off in Taizhou, East China's Zhejiang province on Oct 17.

A number of visitors were invited to visit Shangzhantou scenic spot in Yuhuan, a county-level city in Taizhou, and to experience several tourism projects like rafting and glass slide.

The glass slide in Shangzhantou, which is dubbed the "rural version of Disneyland", is the longest of its kind in East China.

A fish-dragon lantern dance performance was also staged at the opening ceremony. The dance, with a history of about 400 years, has been designated a national intangible cultural heritage item.

The day before, nearly 200 outdoor leisure and sports enthusiasts visited Lanbo Bay Water Sports Club in Yuhuan and experienced activities like water motorboating, paddle boarding and kayaking.

Apart from the aforementioned recreational projects, visitors can also go camping and savor local cuisine.
