A livestreaming contest was recently launched in Taizhou, East China's Zhejiang province to promote local agricultural products.

Registration for the contest opened on July 16 and contestants must submit all required materials before July 22.

The entrants should either be natives or people living or working in Taizhou. They should also be aged between 18 and 45. Those with some experience in promoting goods via livestreaming are preferred.

Contestants who pass the preliminary review on their registration materials by the organizing committee will be eligible to participate in the contest's preliminary round, in which they need to make a brief self-introduction and promote a product chosen on their own.

Sixteen contestants will then be selected to be finalists based on the jury's judgments.

In mid-August, they are required to submit a 30-second video in which they should promote designated goods after a brief self-introduction, with the contestant with the most online votes winning an award of 1,000 yuan ($153.85).

The final round, which is scheduled to be held in late August, will see contestants promote designated goods through livestreams.

The first-prize winner will be awarded 6,000 yuan, while the awards for the second-prize winners and the third-prize winners being 4,000 yuan and 2,000 yuan respectively.
