Yunjin azalea trees that are growing on Huading Peak, the main peak of Tiantai Mountain in Taizhou, have recently entered their flowering period, creating a marvelous scene.

The azalea, also known as rhododendron fortunei, is dubbed "super azalea" due to its big and dense blossoms.

Those grown on Huading Peak, at an altitude of 1,098 meters, are 200 years old on average, with the oldest exceeding 1,000 years old. The scale is also rarely seen elsewhere in China, despite this variety of azalea being planted in other places in Zhejiang province, as well as Yunnan and Sichuan provinces.

Yunjin azalea flowers are listed among the four wonders on Huading Peak, along with sea of clouds, sunrise, and rime.
