Shanghai's highest bookstore to set up branch in Huangyan

Shanghai Century Publishing (Group) Co Ltd, developer of Douyun Bookstore, the highest bookstore in Shanghai, will open its sixth bookstore in Taizhou's Huangyan district, according to local media reports.
The bookstore will the first bookstore funded by the publisher outside of Shanghai.
At 239 meters high and on the 52nd floor of the Shanghai Tower, its flagship bookstore, Douyuan Bookstore, opened to the public in August 2019.
The bookstore occupies more than 2,200 square meters and has 16,000 books on sale. It has become a popular site for tourists, as its arched bookshelves and spacious interior allow them to enjoy a wonderful panoramic view of the city.
The bookstore to be erected along the Yongning River in Huangyan will soon begin construction and is scheduled to welcome guests on July 1.
It will comprise of six parts fulfilling a variety of functions including reading, reception, catering, lectures, and exhibitions.
