A government delegation headed by Chen Weijun, Party chief of Wenzhou, visited Taizhou in East China's Zhejiang province on March 3.

The two cities agreed to seek further integration so as to achieve win-win results

While meeting Li Yueqi, Party chief of Taizhou, Chen expressed hope that the two cities would strengthen cooperation in industrial matters, city construction, transportation, ports and environmental conservation.

He also called for coordinated efforts to advance innovation and reform and facilitate cross -regional sharing of public resources in fields including medical care, culture and tourism.

Li expressed hope that a regular cooperation mechanism can be put in place between Taizhou and Wenzhou, given the great potential for bilateral cooperation.

He said that the two cities should join hands in building a world-class manufacturing hub and strengthen cooperation in fields including education, health care, culture and tourism.

The two cities inked a strategic cooperation agreement to advance the collaborative development of the private sector.

During their stay in Taizhou, the Wenzhou delegation also visited places including the Huangyan intelligent mold town, Asia-Europe Automobile (Taizhou) Co Ltd and the Rainbow series drone production base.
