Eleven towns from Taizhou were recently listed among provincial models in Zhejiang's "Beautiful Town" construction campaign. 

A total of 110 towns from across Zhejiang province made the list. The 11 from Taizhou were Dachen Town in Jiaojiang district, Ningxi town in Huangyan district, Xinqiao town in Luqiao district, Hetou town in Linhai, Zeguo town and Daxi town in Wenling, Chumen town in Yuhuan, Shiliang town in Tiantai county, Baita town and Danzhu town in Xianju county, as well as Jiantiao town in Sanmen county.
