Taizhou in East China's Zhejiang province launched a new travel card Sept 22 to better integrate local cultural and tourism resources, and attract more tourists to secure the rebound of the tourism industry.

Targeting people coming to Taizhou for sightseeing, the travel cards allow unlimited free entrance to tourist attractions included in the program within one year. At the same time, card holders will be offered discounts in some hotels and restaurants.

The first 21 tourist attractions that are covered by the travel card program include Donghu Lake, Dalu Island in Wenling and Jiangnan Ancient Great Wall.

Each card for adults is priced at 280 yuan ($41.40) a year while that for students younger than 18 is 180 yuan.

People can purchase the cards at the WeChat account "taizhou519" with their ID cards.
