The Jiulong Mountain flight camp in Tiantai county, Taizhou, East China's Zhejiang province, was recently awarded the title of aviation flight camp of the China Aviation Sports Association, local media reported on July 24.

The camp is located on the top of Jiulong Mountain, 15 kilometers away from downtown Tiantai. It has an altitude of 520 meters.

Jiulong Mountain has a beautiful environment, steady airstream, and suitable thermal and dynamic updrafts for gliding.

The mountain can be flown over in any direction, and the flight camp is open over 300 days a year.

Visitors can glide, have picnics, fly kites, and camp on the mountain.

Amateurs are also welcome to participate, as there are coaches available to help.

The camp currently has two State-level coaches, 15 pilots, and more than 300 members.
