The Wedding Customs Museum is located in an ancient quadrangle dwelling in Dongping village, Sanmen county, Taizhou, East China's Zhejiang province.

Covering an area of more than 1,300 square meters, the museum includes three exhibition areas: one for showcasing dowries, one for showcasing lacquered wood crafts, and one for experiencing wedding customs.

The museum is home to over 500 artifacts related to the "Ten-li Red Dowries", a wedding custom in Taizhou that has been listed as a State-level intangible cultural heritage item.

The "Ten-li Red Dowries" refer mainly to a bride welcoming ceremony and red dowry craftsmanship.

Red dowries consist of various articles of daily use prepared by the bride's family. They are painted with vermilion, decorated with gold, quicksilver, and natural stones, and feature engravings, paintings, and writing.

These daily articles include buckets, cases, cages, baskets, boxes, trays, dressing tables, and makeup tools.
