28 hospitals offer services for COVID-19 and antibody testing

A total of 28 hospitals in Taizhou, East China's Zhejiang province, had launched checkup services related to the novel coronavirus, including nucleic acid and antibody tests, as of April 27. 

The hospitals include the Taizhou Hospital of Zhejiang province, Taizhou University Hospital, and the Taizhou Enze Medical Care Center. 

The services were launched as part of the nation’s efforts to prevent and control the epidemic and accelerate the resumption of production. 

People are advised to take the tests with an empty stomach. The following people are encouraged to take the test: 

1.Those returning to Taizhou within 21 days of visiting Hubei province and other areas such as Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Jieyang in Guangdong province, Harbin and Suifenhe in Heilongjiang province, and Manzhouli in Inner Mongolia autonomous region; 

2.Those who have had contact with COVID-19 patients within the last 21 days;

3.Those who have had contact with suspected cases with fever and/or respiratory symptoms from Hubei and other epidemic-hit residential communities within the past 21 days; 

4.Those who have visited places where there have been more than two reported cases of patients with fever and/or respiratory symptoms within the past three weeks in small areas such as homes, offices, classrooms, etc.

5.Those who have travelled overseas or had contact with people returning from overseas within the past 21 days.
