The Taizhou Cultural Center and Taizhou Library reopened to the public on March 16, as the epidemic gradually subsides in the city.
The cultural center is only open to individuals, while group tours are still temporarily suspended.
Visitors are required to register their personal information, show their green Health QR codes, which indicate they have little possibility of being infected with the disease and have their temperatures taken before entering.
They also must wear face masks and maintain a distance of at least one meter from others. People are also recommended to keep their visit under one hour in length.
The center is open from 9:00 to 16:00 on weekdays.
The Taizhou Library also reopened that same day.
The library has resumed circulation services for certain types of books, but reading or studying at the library is still not allowed.
The library is open from 8:30 to 17:00, and readers are not allowed to enter after 16:30.
Readers must make reservations at least a day in advance and are required to show their ID cards and health codes, wear face masks, and have their temperatures taken before entering.
They are advised to maintain a distance of at least 1.5 meters from other people and keep their stay under one hour in length.
They are also encouraged to use self-help machines at the front gate to borrow and return books.
All books in the library have been disinfected, and readers are required to place used books onto a cart rather than back on the shelf so that the staff can disinfect them.
The library's air conditioners and elevators are all currently out of service to prevent cross-infection.
