Medics given free access all A-level scenic attractions in Taizhou in 2020

Print PrintTaizhou in East China's Zhejiang recently announced that all A-level scenic spots in the city will be free to medical workers across the country in 2020.
Medical workers with valid certificates (doctor or nurse certificates) will be exempt from entrance fees, but not all fees that may be charged throughout tours.
The move comes as local authorities seek to honor medical professionals for their contributions to the ongoing battle against the pneumonia epidemic.
The local government urged all relevant scenic spots implement the policy after reopening to visitors.
The words "free to medical workers throughout the country" should be displayed prominently at the entrance and ticket window.
In order to provide a better experience for visitors, medical workers who come to Taizhou as a group are encouraged to book in advance during peak travel periods such as weekends or holidays.
Taizhou is home to a wealth of tourism resources and is renowned for its rich history and magnificent natural views.
The city is currently home to two national 5A scenic attractions, 15 4A attractions and 64 3A attractions.
The most famous two are Shenxianju and Tiantai Mountain. Shenxianju, literally meaning "dwelling for immortals", features an intact ecosystem and geologic structure, while Tiantai Mountain is known for its beautiful scenery and being the cradle of the Tiantai Sect of Chinese Buddhism.
