The container throughput of Daimaiyu port in Taizhou surpassed 300,000 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) on Dec 10, according to local media reports.

The port has seen robust growth since its establishment in 1999.

Thus far, the port has opened container routes to cities including Dandong, Yingkou, Tangshan, Qingdao, Ningbo, Wenzhou, Fuzhou, Shantou and Guangzhou, basically all major domestic coastal ports.
