Taizhou ranks 26th nationwide in city brand influence

Taizhou, a coastal city in Zhejiang province, ranked 26th among all prefecture-level cities in China in terms of city brand influence with a reading of 403.87, two places higher than last year, according to a recent report.

The report, primarily compiled by China City Network and People's Daily, evaluated the brand influence of 293 prefecture-level cities across the nation based on factors such as services, technological innovation, tangible assets and intangible assets.

With a reading of 663.5, Suzhou in East China‘’s Jiangsu province topped the list, followed by Wenzhou, Foshan, Wuxi, and Quanzhou. 

A total of seven cities from Zhejiang province made the top 100 list. 

Taizhou, the birthplace of Hehe culture, is a popular place to live, work, and travel. It is home to a number of renowned scenic attractions such as Tiantai Mountain, Shexianju, and Shitang town and is also a national manufacturing hub known for producing Geely cars, Rainbow drones, bullet trains and deep-sea research vessels.
