Police officers from Taizhou, East China's Zhejiang province triumphed at the 18th World Police and Fire Games in Chengdu, Sichuan province from Aug 12 to 13.

After two days of intense competition, six police officers from the city pocketed seven gold, one silver and two bronze medals in Brazilian jiu-jitsu contests.

The Games, slated to run until Aug 18, attracted a total of 310 police officers and firefighters from 79 countries and regions.

Six police officers from Zhejiang signed up for Brazilian jiu-jitsu contests and they were all from Taizhou.
