BUAA internship base lands in Taizhou

Businesses from Taizhou's high-tech district formed a partnership with BUAA (Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics) on July 1.

Zhejiang Baida Jinggong Co, Zhejiang Goodsense Forklift Co and Hengbo Holding Co were designated the first batch of internship bases of BUAA in the district.

Three teachers and 82 students from the school's college of automation science and electrical engineering and the collge of higher engineering shall work in these companies, providing them technical support and other services.

Fang Binghui, head of administrative personnel at Baida said that Baida is at a critical stage of intelligent and mechanized transformation and the internship shall offer them an opportunity to enhance innovation strength and promote talent cultivation.

"After a week's inspection, we decided to join hands with Taizhou to construct an internship base since our profession dovetails with many enterprises' automation development direction in the city, said Li Yang, associate dean of undergraduate education in the college of automation science and electrical engineering.

On the basis of this cooperation, He also expressed the hope that BUAA and Taizhou could expand could construct a long-term internship base in the future.
