Taizhou Luqiao Airport (IATA: HYN, ICAO: ZSLQ) is located at the intersection of Airport Road and Yinbin East Road, Luqiao district, Taizhou, Zhejiang province. It has developed air routes to 13 major cities in China, including Beijing, Shenzhen and Xi 'an, while the drives from Taizhou to Ningbo and Wenzhou Airports take less than two hours.

Public transportation to the airport

The No 304 public bus can take passengers directly from Luqiao Coach Station to the airport. Passengers can either take airport shuttle buses or taxis from the downtown area to the airport. To the Huangyan Mould Town, passengers can take shuttle buses from the airport to Huangyan Station, taking 15-20 minutes. It costs about 150 yuan ($ 27) to travel from Taizhou Luqiao Airport to Yandang Mountain by a chartered car, or passengers can go to Luqiao South Coach Station (15 yuan) by taxi then transfer to a minibus to the mountain, only one hour’s drive. There are regular buses from Luqiao Coach Station to Linhai Ancient Town and Tiantai Mountain, and it takes only one to two hours to drive.

Passengers can take public buses No 304, No 306 and No 907.

Bus stops: Civil Aviation Station – No 1 Bridge – Fangs’ village - Lijiayang - Jili Decoration – Shangma village - Bamboo Market - Zhangyang new village - Taizhou Hospital Luqiao campus - Workers Cultural Palace - Xinhe Building - Bell Tower - Central Food Market - Fushi Square - Dongsen Shopping Center - Coach Station (a total of 16 stops)

Taxi fare in Taizhou:

1. Initial charge (up to 1.5 kilometers): six yuan

Tariff (thereafter): 1.9 yuan per km

2. There is a surcharge of 40 percent of the total fare for 2-km-and-above one-way trips

3. The passenger wait time rate is 1.9 yuan for every five minutes.

4. From 22:00 to 5:00, the initial charge is 11 yuan and the cost is 10 percent more per kilometer.
