Feiyue Group is located in Jiaojiang district, Taizhou, a coastal city in Zhejiang province. Its history dates back to May 1981, when the company's founder Qiu Jibao started to set foot in the machinery manufacturing industry from an individual business related to commerce and industry. 

The group has evolved into a company with more than 10,000 employees after 30 years of development. It has established strategic cooperative relations with the Institute of Computing Technology of Chinese Academy of Sciences, and launched a series of automation, intellectualized and electromechanical integration products with independent core technologies, forming a production capacity of complete sets of equipment.

The company has passed the ISO9001 quality management system certification, ISO14001 environmental management system certification, and GB/T28001 occupational health and safety management system certification, as well as other international certifications such as CE, TUV, GS, and UL. Its products with intellectual property rights (IPR) are exported to more than 150 countries and regions.

The company's multi-functional household sewing machine was selected as diplomatic gifts by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China and as inter-Party exchange gifts by the International Department of Central Committee of Communist Party of China, making the brands FEIYUE and YAMATA well-known at home and abroad. It has been given the titles of "China Well-known Trademark", "China Top Brand" and "China Export Top Brand", as well as won the qualification of Top 10 Chinese Globally Influential Brands.

At the beginning of 2009, Feiyue Group successfully coped with the effects of the 2008 international financial crisis, by taking transformation and upgrading efforts, achieving big breakthroughs in high-end manufacturing and renewable resources industries.

The scale of the intelligent hanging system from Feiyue Twin Star Apparel Machinery Co Ltd ranks first in the world, occupying 60 percent of the domestic market.

Advanced computer flat knitters developed by Feiyue Witt Technologies Co Ltd meet the needs of knitting enterprises for equipment upgrading and have been proven to be consistently favored by the market. 

The new energy and environmental friendly pipeline produced by Feiyue New Pipeline Technology Co Ltd is widely used in the fields of nuclear power, metallurgy, mineral, petrochemical, urban sewage and drainage, and other industries.

To actively echo the national call for companies to develop their circular economics and to reduce their carbon footprint, Feiyue Group has placed increasing efforts in its renewable resources practices. Its "three million tons bases" for metal recycling, household appliances recycling, and scrap steel recycling have officially been put into operation.
