A grand national flag raising ceremony was held on Monday in front of the Taizhou municipal government office building. 

The move was meant to promote patriotism among Party members and cadres as well as mobilize all government officials to work with greater vigor on the first work day after the Spring Festival holiday.

Chen Yijun, Party chief of Taizhou, and Mayor Zhang Xiaoqiang attended the ceremony.
