Changyu Stone Cave Scenic Area

The Changyu Stone Cave Scenic Area is situated in Wenling city, Taizhou. The site is noted for the largest manual cutting grotto in the Guinness Book of World Records in April 1998.

Because of the wandering mountains, the area looks like a long and narrow island in the sea, hence the name 'Changyu' (long island).

The total area of the scenic area reaches 16.2 square kilometres, including the Eight Immortals Rock, Double-Gate Cave, Chongguo Temple and Wild Mountain scenic areas.

In 2002, it was designated as national 4A class attraction, with the 5A being the highest in China.

Jiangnan Grand Canyon

Situated at the Youxi town, Linhai city of Taizhou, the Jiangnan Grand Canyon is 35 kilometers in length and at an altitude ranging from 300 to 900 meters.

Jiangnan Grand Canyon Military Exploration Rafting is the first exploration rafting with a military theme. It is 6.8 kilometers in length with a height difference of 138 meters. It consists of over 50 thrilling rapid beaches with the biggest height difference of each beach up to 10 meters. Also, the place is characterized by beautiful mountain landscapes and dense forest, and along the rafting route, one can view the beautiful waterfalls, steep cliffs and wondrous karst caves.
