Taizhou Maternal and Children Health Hospital opens

The Taizhou Maternal and Children Health Hospital on Monday opened to the public, local media reported.

The hospital, jointly built by the Taizhou government and Wenzhou Medical University, is a grade-three hospital — the highest level of China's three-tier grading system for public hospitals.

Situated in the Qianjin village, Jiazhi sub-district, the facility's first phase occupies 120 mus and contains 400 beds.

Chen Yijun, secretary of the CPC Taizhou Municipal Committee, and Li Xiaokun, president of the Wenzhou Medical University, attended the opening ceremony.
