Taizhou Enze Medical Center is a regional comprehensive public medical group integrating medical treatment, first aid, scientific research, teaching and prevention. Enze Medical Bureau, founded in 1901, currently has three comprehensive hospitals: Taizhou Hospital of Zhejiang province, Luqiao Hospital and Enze Hospital. The center has a total of more than 6,190 employees, nearly 3,300 hospital beds, five experts enjoying the State Council's special allowances, and 665 staff with senior professional titles, among which 223 are professors and 442 are associate professors. It is a sister hospital of the Affiliated Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University, the Teaching Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine, the Teaching Hospital of Nanjing University School of Medicine, the Chicago Medical School of the United States and the Karolinska Institute of Sweden.

The center has two medical disciplines supported by Zhejiang province, 21 key medical disciplines of Taizhou, 14 regional specialized disease centers, advanced medical devices, high-standard central laboratories and human biological sample banks. There are 40 million outpatient visits and 156,600 patients are discharged per year.
