To assist that effort the women's federations of Taizhou's Jiaojiang district and Ebian investigated the historical evolution, industrial situation and technological characteristics of Taizhou embroidery and Yi embroidery. Recently, Zhejiang Taizhou Embroidery Clothes Co Ltd has invited Yi embroidery girls to Jiaojiang district to integrate Yi embroidery and Taizhou embroidery on clothing.

An officer of the women's federations of Jiaojiang district said "We hope that the advantages in design, industry, market access and ideas of the company can help the development of the Yi embroidery industry, as well as effectively help Yi women master a skill, improving their employment and entrepreneurship."
