In the past, tax relief for small and micro enterprises involved value-added tax, income tax, business tax, and other types of tax. For tax reduction and exemption, it was often necessary to consult a number of departments. To improve this situation, Taizhou economic development zone has set up the city’s first national tax service center for small and micro enterprises, centralizing the tax affairs process.

According to sources at the city’s national tax bureau, the establishment of the service center is based on information sharing in order to enhance the cooperation of the market supervision bureau, migrant population office and national and local tax departments, simplifying the taxation process. At the same time it issues provisional invoices and provides information consultation for small and micro enterprises by coordinating with relevant departments.

“Based on the three-year plan of the development of small and micro enterprises, we will unconditionally support the development of small and micro enterprises in all sectors,” said Liu Donghai, director of the taxation branch in Taizhou economic development zone.

After the establishment of the small and micro enterprises service center, the application affairs of national tax and local tax departments can be handled in one office site, providing a more convenient process for small and micro business runners.

The new service center is located at the first floor of Wulian Building of Taizhou economic development zone.
