Xianju Waxberry has won a number of honorary accolades for its flavor. It has been one of the branded products of the International Agricultural Expo many times. In 2004, it was honored as a Zhejiang Provincial Branded Product by the Zhejiang Bureau of Quality Supervision. In 2005, the total yield reached 45,000 tons, with the total output up to 250 million yuan ($36.01 million) and the average income of the farmers increased by over 600 yuan.
